Questions and answers

Do I need an electrician to install the thermostat?

No. The Plug-In model connects directly to a standard wall socket and does not require permanent installation.

Do I need WiFi to use the thermostat?

No. The Salus RT510 Plug-In communicates with radio waves at 868 MHz and needs neither WiFi nor the Internet.

Can I control several infrared panels with the same thermostat?

Yes, provided they are connected to the same control system and used in the same room.

Can I use the thermostat without programming?

Yes. Many customers only use the manual mode, where you choose the desired temperature yourself.

What temperature can I set?

The temperature can be adjusted between 5°C and 35°C.

What is the difference to the Salus RT510 with relay?

The Plug-In model is easier to install because no fixed connection is needed. The relay model, on the other hand, allows for a more discreet installation with hidden cables.

Product description

Wireless Thermostat Salus RT510 Plug-In – The simplest solution for infrared heating

Do you want to be able to control the temperature of your infrared panels without having to do any fixed installation?

Then the Salus RT510 Plug-In is an excellent choice.

This is the same reliable and proven thermostat that we use for our regular thermostat packages. The difference is that the receiver is instead equipped with a plug and is connected directly to an ordinary wall outlet.

This means that you do not need an electrician or any special electrical knowledge. Plug the receiver into the wall socket, connect the infrared panel's plug and select the desired temperature. Then the system is ready to use.

It's actually not more difficult than that.

Perfect when you want to get started right away

Many customers want a simple solution that works immediately without additional installation.

This is exactly why the Salus RT510 Plug-In exists.

You get the same temperature control, precision and reliability as our standard RT510 solution, but installation takes just seconds.

It is therefore very popular in conservatories, holiday homes, glazed balconies, garages, storage rooms and other environments where you want to get started quickly.

No electrician needed

Unlike traditional thermostat solutions, the Plug-In model does not require the connection of a relay or other fixed installation.

All you have to do is connect the receiver to the wall outlet and then connect the infrared panel.

That makes this the simplest thermostat solution in our entire range.

The same reliable thermostat as our professional solutions

The thermostat itself is identical to the model used in conjunction with our relay-controlled systems.

It communicates wirelessly with radio waves at 868 MHz and the signal easily penetrates ordinary wooden and plaster walls.

You therefore get the same stable temperature control and the same ease of use as in our more advanced installations.

Manual control or programming – you choose

If you just want to set the temperature and let the system take care of itself, just press the up or down arrow until you find the right temperature.

If you want to use weekly programs, night lowering or other energy-saving functions, there is of course also the possibility of that.

For those who want full control, there is both manual and programmable operation.

Place the thermostat where it measures the temperature best

The temperature sensor is built into the thermostat itself.

For best results, the thermostat should be placed in a location that gives a good picture of the room's true temperature.

Because the thermostat is wireless, there is great freedom in choosing a location. Many choose to have it visible on the wall, while others place it on a shelf or other discreet place in the room.

If you have several family members who like to change the temperature a little too often, a more discreet location can sometimes be an appreciated solution.

Choose between the simplest or most elegant installation

The big difference between the Salus RT510 Plug-In and our regular thermostat package lies in the installation.

The Plug-In model is the simplest solution we offer. Just connect the plug and start using the system.

If, on the other hand, you want a completely hidden installation without visible cables, our relay-controlled model is often the best choice.

Maximum simplicity or maximum discretion

With the Plug-In model, you get the easiest installation.

With the relay model, you get the neatest installation.

Both use the same thermostat, the same temperature sensor and the same control system. The difference is therefore mainly about how you want the installation to look.

Save energy with the right thermostat

A well-functioning thermostat is one of the most important components in the entire heating system.

It is the thermostat that determines when the heat should be on and when it should be turned off. The better temperature control you have, the less energy is used unnecessarily.

The digital technology in the Salus RT510 provides high precision and helps keep the temperature stable without large variations.

Digital precision provides greater comfort

All thermostats that Infracenter sells are digital.

Digital temperature control provides significantly higher precision than older mechanical solutions. You get exactly the temperature you want and when the temperature is reached, the infrared panels are automatically switched off until heat is needed again.

The result is a more pleasant indoor environment and better energy efficiency.

Works for more than just infrared panels

Although the Salus RT510 Plug-In is mainly used together with Infracenter's infrared panels, it also works for many other electric heat sources.

Many customers use it, for example, for electric radiators, fan heaters, garage heaters, frost protection heating and other products where you want to maintain an even temperature.

This makes the thermostat a long-term investment that can be used in many different ways.

WHY INFRACENTER?

90% of the heat from our infrared heating panels goes out into the room. Our infrared products are of very high quality.
Simpler/cheaper panels send 50% of the heat into the wall, which is not good or efficient at all.

Infrared heating is very efficient and bounces (reflected) in the room and heats surfaces and objects

Infrared heating - what, how, why?

- Soft, comfortable and energy-efficient heat
