Restaurant Paganini chose Infracenter – More guests and longer visits with infra panels

In a restaurant, every table is important. But when certain seats are constantly being chosen away during the winter months, it affects both the guest experience and the business. At Restaurant Paganini in Gamla Stan, that was exactly the case. The large windows gave the restaurant a fantastic view and a bright, inviting feel. At the same time, the glass created a chill during the colder months of the year. Guests wanted to come to the restaurant – but they preferred not to sit by the windows. The restaurant’s owner Romeo wanted to find a solution that really worked, without affecting the elegant environment that has made Paganini a popular Italian restaurant.

Infracenter analyzed the premises before choosing any product

When Romeo contacted Infracenter, they didn't start by recommending a product. They started by understanding the problem. Where did the guests experience the cold? How was the restaurant used? Where would the heat have the greatest effect? After the review, Infracenter recommended a solution with large infrared panels mounted above the window sections. The panels heat the guests, the tables and the floor directly with soft infrared waves, which means that the cold feeling from the glass disappears without the entire restaurant needing to be heated to a higher temperature. It's this type of design that makes the difference between a regular heating system and a solution that really works in a restaurant environment.

From the least popular tables to some of the most sought after

The results were noticeable quickly. The tables that had previously often been empty during the winter months suddenly became as attractive as the rest of the restaurant. Guests could enjoy the view through the large windows without feeling drafty or cold. For Romeo, this meant more than just happier guests. “Previously, many guests avoided the tables by the windows during the winter. Today, it’s the opposite. We have more guests than before and they also stay longer. It has made a big difference to the restaurant. When guests enjoy themselves, they are happy to stay a little longer, order a dessert, a coffee or another glass of wine. A well-thought-out heating solution is therefore not only an investment in comfort – it is also an investment in the restaurant’s profitability.

Discreet warmth that suits an elegant restaurant

At Restaurant Paganini, the atmosphere is an important part of the experience. The large infrared panels were installed discreetly above the window areas and blend naturally into the room. Guests rarely notice the heating system – they notice above all that it feels warm and comfortable, even in places that were previously perceived as cold. This is exactly how a professional heating system should work.

A solution that improves both the experience and the business

For Restaurant Paganini, the project was much more than a way to get rid of the draft from the windows. It was a way to make the entire restaurant more attractive. All tables can be used all year round and guests get the same high level of comfort no matter where they sit. This is exactly the type of solution that Infracenter works with – where the right dimensioning and the right placement produce a result that is noticeable every day.
