Discreet design and easy installation

Standard 450W has been developed to fit into modern homes where design, comfort and function must interact. The thin construction means that the panel blends well into living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, hallways and home offices without attracting attention.

Mounted on a wall, pitched ceiling or suspended ceiling

All Standard 450W are delivered with a smart wall and ceiling bracket that is included in the box. The bracket is simply screwed to the wall, pitched ceiling or suspended ceiling and then the panel is hung in place with a smart zig-zag bracket that ensures it sits safely and securely.

For those who want an even more discreet installation, the panel can also be folded into suspended ceilings or mounted in acoustic ceilings. This is one of the reasons why the model has become popular both in private homes and in larger office projects.

The cord is also not cast into the panel. It can easily be unscrewed and replaced with a cable of the length that best suits the installation. It makes it easier to create a neat, discreet and professional installation without unnecessary cable excess.

How many Standard 450W do I need?

Under normal conditions with normal ceiling height and normal insulation standard, we usually count on around 80–100W per m².

A Standard 450W therefore normally fits around 5 m². If the room is larger, you simply mount several panels together. The same model is therefore used as often in bedrooms and kitchens as in larger offices, schools and commercial properties.

In order for the infrared heating to provide warm floors, an even temperature, dry up moisture and provide a high level of comfort, the infrared waves need to have enough power to heat the floor, walls and furniture properly. If the effect is too low, you can compare it to the Sun in winter. It still shines, but the sun's rays cannot heat the ground very much.

However, this does not mean that our panels are at full power all the time. When the desired temperature is reached, the thermostat switches off the heat automatically. A properly dimensioned plant is normally active around 30% of the time during the winter months and significantly less during the spring, summer and autumn.

Choose with or without thermostat

For maximum comfort, we recommend our wireless thermostat package. The thermostat automatically senses the temperature in the room and makes sure to maintain the temperature you choose. When the room has become warm enough, the heat is switched off and when the temperature drops, the panel starts again.

A thermostat can control several panels

If you have several panels in the same room, one thermostat is normally sufficient. This makes installation both simple and cost-effective. If you already have your own control system, app control or smart home solution, ordering the panel without a thermostat will of course also work perfectly.

Placement and installation of infrared panels

Our white infrared panels can be mounted on walls, pitched ceilings or suspended ceilings.

A central location in the room, where the infrared panel can "see" as much of the surface as possible, usually provides the most even heat distribution. In larger rooms, it is common for several panels to be placed at regular intervals to create a pleasant and even heat throughout the room.

All white infrared panels can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, which gives great freedom in planning and placement.

For ceiling mounting, a ceiling height of 1.8–2.5 meters is normally recommended for best results.

Always leave about 5 cm of free space around the panel and at least 30 cm of free space in front of the panel to ensure the best function and long service life.

Thermostat and control

For best comfort, we recommend that our infrared panels be supplemented with a thermostat. Then the temperature is regulated automatically and the room maintains an even and pleasant heat.

Infracenter's thermostat is reliable and easy to use. You set the desired temperature and times yourself, then the system takes care of the rest automatically.

The installation requires some electrical knowledge, but the daily use is very simple. Once the thermostat is installed, it manages the regulation of the temperature completely automatically.
