Under normal conditions with normal ceiling height and normal insulation standard, we usually count on around 80–100W per m².

In order for infrared heating to provide warm floors, even temperature and high comfort, the infrared waves need to have enough power to heat floors, walls and furniture properly. If the effect is too low, you can compare it to the sun in winter. It still shines, but cannot heat the ground very much.
However, this does not mean that the panels are at full power all the time. When the desired temperature is reached, the thermostat switches off the heat automatically. A properly dimensioned plant is normally active around 30% of the time during the winter months and significantly less during the spring, summer and autumn.
Two panels provide more even and comfortable heat
A big advantage of using two panels instead of a larger heat source is that the heat is distributed more evenly in the room.
With two Standard 1000W, you get a better spread of the infrared waves, fewer cold zones and more comfortable heating. It is the same principle that is used in larger homes, offices and commercial properties where several panels work together to create an even indoor climate.
In addition, the installation is often both prettier and more discreet because the panels blend naturally into the suspended ceiling.
Wireless thermostat that manages the heat for you
The package includes the Salus RT510 wireless thermostat together with the Salus SR868 relay.
The thermostat automatically senses the temperature in the room and makes sure to maintain the temperature you choose. When the room has become warm enough, the heat is switched off and when the temperature drops, the panels start again.
You get an even and pleasant indoor climate without having to think about the heat in everyday life.
The temperature can easily be set between 5°C and 35°C directly on the thermostat.
A thermostat can control both panels
The thermostat communicates wirelessly with the relay via 868 MHz radio communication. Since both panels are in the same room, a thermostat is normally sufficient to control the entire package.
If you already have your own control system, app control or smart home solution, of course it also works great to buy the panels separately without a thermostat.
