1000 W does not mean 1000 W all the time
1000 W is the panel's maximum power – not what it consumes every hour.
When the correct temperature is reached, the thermostat turns off the heating and only turns it on again when needed.
Approximately 30% operating time during winter
A properly sized infrared panel normally only needs to work around 30% of the time during the winter months. During the warmer months of the year, the need is significantly less than that.
You only pay for the energy the panel actually uses – not for the power stated on the label.
